Employee Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: May 2026 · Governed by Philippine Labour Law

yoonet.ph — Philippine Recruitment Platform

1. Introduction and Purpose

These Employee Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between Yoonet Pty Ltd Inc ("Yoonet", "we", "our", or "us") and individuals who apply for, are recruited through, or are employed via the yoonet.ph recruitment platform.

Yoonet is an Australian-owned company with fully incorporated Philippine operations in Balanga, Bataan. We directly employ Filipino professionals on behalf of our client businesses in Australia, New Zealand, and other markets. By submitting your application through yoonet.ph, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Employment Model — Our Employee, Your Team

Yoonet operates on a direct employment model. If you are successfully placed through our recruitment process, you will be employed directly by Yoonet Pty Ltd Inc under Philippine labour law — not by the client business. The client business will direct your day-to-day work, but your employer of record is Yoonet.

This model provides you with full employment protections, statutory benefits, and the security of a formal employment arrangement, while working exclusively for and alongside a dedicated client team.

3. Eligibility to Apply

To be eligible to apply through yoonet.ph, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be a Filipino citizen or hold the appropriate authorisation to work in the Philippines
  • Be available to work office-based from our Balanga, Bataan facility
  • Be available to work standard hours of 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Philippine Standard Time (aligned to Australian business hours)
  • Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information throughout the application process

4. Application and Recruitment Process

Submitting an application through yoonet.ph does not constitute an offer of employment or guarantee of placement. All applications are subject to:

  • Initial screening and assessment of your skills, experience, and cultural fit
  • Shortlisting and referral to one or more client businesses for their review
  • Interview processes conducted by Yoonet and/or the client business
  • Verification of your submitted information, qualifications, and professional references
  • Availability of a suitable role at the time of your application

Yoonet reserves the right to decline any application at its sole discretion and is not obligated to provide a reason for any decision made during the recruitment process.

5. Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted as part of your application — including your curriculum vitae (CV), employment history, educational qualifications, certifications, and references — is accurate, complete, and up to date.

Submission of false, misleading, or deliberately incomplete information may result in:

  • Immediate disqualification from the recruitment process
  • Termination of employment if discovered after successful placement
  • Referral to appropriate authorities where fraud or misrepresentation is involved

6. Employment Entitlements

Upon successful placement and commencement of employment with Yoonet, you will be entitled to the following in accordance with Philippine labour law:

Statutory Benefits

  • Social Security System (SSS) contributions
  • Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) contributions
  • Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG) contributions
  • 13th Month Pay as required under Presidential Decree No. 851

Leave Entitlements

  • Two (2) weeks (10 working days) paid annual leave per year
  • Eight (8) days paid sick leave per year
  • Special leave and public holiday entitlements in accordance with Philippine law, with substitutions made to align with Australian public holidays where reasonably possible

Health and Wellbeing

  • HMO (Health Maintenance Organisation) healthcare coverage from the commencement of employment

Workplace and Schedule

  • Office-based work at Yoonet's dedicated facility in Balanga, Bataan — remote work is not available
  • Standard working hours: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Philippine Standard Time, Monday to Friday
  • Access to a professional, secure, and well-equipped office environment

Specific terms of your employment, including your role, remuneration, reporting structure, and any probationary period, will be set out in your individual employment contract upon successful placement.

7. Workplace Conduct and Standards

All Yoonet employees are expected to conduct themselves professionally, honestly, and with genuine respect for their colleagues, clients, and the broader Yoonet team. Our culture is built on authenticity, warmth, and a shared commitment to excellence.

As an employee, you agree to:

  • Represent Yoonet and the client business professionally at all times
  • Follow reasonable and lawful instructions from both Yoonet management and your assigned client
  • Maintain punctuality, reliability, and consistent standards of work quality
  • Treat all colleagues, clients, and visitors with courtesy and respect
  • Adhere to all Yoonet policies, procedures, and the client's internal guidelines
  • Report any workplace concerns, conflicts of interest, or misconduct to Yoonet management promptly

Yoonet maintains a respectful, ego-free ("Yabang-free") workplace culture. Any form of discrimination, harassment, bullying, or conduct inconsistent with our values will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

8. Data Security and Information Handling

As a Yoonet employee, you will be required to comply with strict data security and information handling protocols, including:

  • Storing all work-related data exclusively in approved cloud-based platforms (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox) — no local saves to personal or office devices are permitted
  • Using mandatory two-factor authentication (2FA) on all client and Yoonet systems
  • Never using USB drives, external storage devices, or unauthorised applications on Yoonet equipment
  • Maintaining strict access controls and never sharing login credentials
  • Complying with all client-specific data handling and security requirements

Failure to comply with data security protocols may result in disciplinary action and, where a data breach has occurred, may also result in legal liability.

9. Confidentiality

During your employment and for a reasonable period following its conclusion, you agree to maintain strict confidentiality over all information relating to:

  • Yoonet's internal operations, systems, processes, and business practices
  • The client business and its customers, business strategies, and proprietary information
  • Personal information of clients, customers, colleagues, and other individuals encountered during your employment

You must not disclose, share, or use any confidential information for any purpose outside of your employment duties, without prior written consent from Yoonet. This obligation survives the termination of your employment.

10. Intellectual Property

All work products, deliverables, documents, processes, and outputs created by you in the course of your employment belong to the client business (unless otherwise agreed in writing). You assign any intellectual property rights in such work to the client business via Yoonet.

You must not use, reproduce, or share any intellectual property of Yoonet or its clients outside of your authorised duties.

11. Probationary Period

Unless otherwise specified in your individual employment contract, all new employees serve a probationary period of up to six (6) months in accordance with the Philippine Labour Code. During this period, your performance, conduct, and suitability for the role will be regularly assessed.

Employment may be terminated during the probationary period with appropriate notice if you are found to be unfit for the role, subject to due process requirements under Philippine law.

12. Termination of Employment

Your employment with Yoonet may be concluded in the following circumstances:

  • Resignation: you may resign by providing a minimum of 30 days written notice to Yoonet management, in accordance with the Philippine Labour Code
  • End of placement: if a client business no longer requires your services, Yoonet will make reasonable efforts to redeploy you to another suitable client role before considering redundancy
  • Just cause termination: your employment may be terminated immediately for serious misconduct, wilful disobedience, gross neglect of duty, fraud, breach of trust, or commission of a crime, subject to the due process requirements of the Philippine Labour Code
  • Authorised cause: termination for authorised causes (e.g., redundancy, retrenchment) will be conducted with the required advance notice and separation pay as prescribed by law

Yoonet is committed to fair and lawful employment practices. All termination decisions will follow due process in accordance with the Philippine Labour Code and relevant DOLE regulations.

13. Grievance and Dispute Resolution

Yoonet encourages open and respectful communication. If you have a concern, grievance, or dispute relating to your employment, you are encouraged to:

  • Raise the matter directly with your Yoonet HR contact in the first instance
  • Allow Yoonet a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the concern
  • Escalate to senior Yoonet management if the matter is not resolved satisfactorily

If a dispute cannot be resolved internally, either party may refer the matter to the Department of Labour and Employment (DOLE) or the National Labour Relations Commission (NLRC) in accordance with Philippine law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including the Philippine Labour Code (Presidential Decree No. 442, as amended) and all relevant DOLE regulations. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate Philippine labour tribunals or courts.

15. Amendments

Yoonet reserves the right to update these Employee Terms and Conditions from time to time in response to changes in law, business operations, or best practices. Updated terms will be communicated to all employees and published on yoonet.ph with a revised effective date.

Continued employment with Yoonet following notification of any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
